About the role
The Sr. Supply Planning role at Wells Enterprises (a Ferrero Company) will coordinate and lead cross-functional reviews when customer fulfillment prioritizations are required. This position requires the ability to analyze large, complex data and create dashboards and reporting to provide actionable insights for key stakeholders.
Responsibilities
- Analyze large complex information and create dashboards and reporting to provide actionable insights for stakeholders.
- Responsible for reviewing customer orders daily and prioritizing available inventory according to service priorities and communicating decisions and supply constraints to Customer Service, Sales, and key stakeholders.
- Support S&OP processes by providing priority updates and inventory risk assessments.
- Analyze order fulfillment performance, backorders, fill rates, and inventory utilization to identify trends and recommend improvements.
- Prepare and present analysis at various IBP meetings, explaining financial variances to forecast, plan, budget, as well as other ad-hoc scenario analysis as requested.
- Support and price by partnering with Finance and evaluating the financial impact of changes in costs, labor, and overhead.
- Show curiosity with strong problem-solving skills, work independently and with ambiguity, and understand and utilize both internal and external data sources to ensure an accurate forecast (i.e. Arkieva, Llamasoft, Nielsen, and IRI).
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree preferred in business, math/statistics, finance/accounting.
- 5-7 years of experience in a demand planning role, preferably in a CPG environment.
- 1-3 years of experience with S&OP.
- Background with demand planning software.
- Prioritize experience with partnering with large retail accounts in collaborative demand planning or CPFR.
- Solid knowledge of overall business planning processes to ensure decisions are based on seeing the big picture of supporting company goals & objectives.

- Strong communication skills both verbally and in writing.
- Able to effectively use Excel using data from various sources.
- Strong listening skills and comfortable interfacing with customers and sales teams.
