Sr. Supply Planner - Packaged Products

Our client is a global manufacturer based in Memphis seeking a Senior Supply Planner to lead end-to-end supply and inventory planning for packaged products and packaging materials.

About the role

This is a temporary position with the possibility to convert to full-time permanent. The pay rate is up to $40.00 per hour.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end supply and inventory planning for packaged products and packaging materials.
• Manage time-phased supply planning and execution for packaged products.
• Plan packaging materials and finished goods, including totes, drums, and related packaging components.
• Implement inventory positioning and replenishment strategies.
• Govern safety stock and reorder point (ROP) to balance service levels, working capital objectives, and inventory investment.
• Drive shelf-life management and inventory health improvement initiatives.
• Utilize SAP ECC for Material Requirements Planning (MRP), purchasing processes, inventory management, and master data management (MM/PP modules).

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, logistics, or a related field.
• 4-6 years of related experience.
• APICS/ASCM CPIM certification required or obtained within 12 months of hiring.
• Prior experience with SAP ECC or similar ERP/ASP systems.

Skills

• Advanced expertise in SAP ECC, including MRP, purchasing processes, inventory management, and master data management (MM/PP modules).
• Strong understanding of inventory optimization, safety stock, and reorder point governance.
• Proficiency in Power BI, SQL, and Excel.
