Sr. Supply Chain Supervisor
About the role
The Senior Supply Chain Supervisor is responsible for leading and supervising Supplier Logistics Planners, Packaging Planners, and Supply Chain Specialists within the Supplier Logistics group. This position oversees all day-to-day materials planning activities and supplier crisis management, while providing leadership, guidance, training, and tools to support the team’s success. The Supervisor is responsible for driving performance, strengthening internal customer relationships, maintaining optimal inventory levels aligned with demand, and ensuring the continuous flow of materials to support uninterrupted production.
Responsibilities
- Supervise and coordinate daily activities of Supplier Logistics Planners to ensure all customer requirements are reviewed and met
- Oversee analysis and deployment of EDI, MRP, and release schedules to the supply chain on a weekly basis
- Lead supply chain activities related to product phase-in and phase-out processes
- Maintain critical material “hot lists” and ensure issues are addressed and accurate updates/notes are maintained in SAP
- Guide, coach, and develop team members while fostering a high-performing, motivated, and professional work environment
- Monitor supplier delivery performance, addressing deviations and driving corrective actions on a regular basis
- Ensure escalation processes are followed to quickly address supply chain disruptions and communicate risks across the organization
- Manage inventory levels, backlog tracking, and KPI performance while driving continuous improvement and cost-saving initiatives across the supply chain
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree
- 8+ years of progressive experience working in customer logistics and/or related supply chain management positions
- 2+ years of experience with SAP or other related ERP systems
- Strong knowledge of plant operations, business processes, and supply chain principles, including expertise in sourcing, contracts, and industry best practices
- Proven leadership ability with experience managing teams, prioritizing work, and driving results independently and in cross-functional environments
- Advanced technical proficiency in SAP and Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook), with strong analytical and problem-solving skills (e.g., 8D methodology)
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to present to leadership, influence stakeholders, and work across multicultural environments
- Solid understanding of logistics and compliance standards (IATF-16949, ISO 14000, Incoterms, HMRC), with experience in global operations, including travel and Foreign Trade Zone (FTZ) environments

Pay
Competitive salary commensurate with experience.
Schedule
Full-time, Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM.
