Location: Burlingame, California (Hybrid) – 12-month contract at $80–$90/hr.

About the role

We are seeking a Senior Supply Chain Program Manager to lead risk-intelligence initiatives. This role involves driving cross-functional coordination, managing project timelines, and translating technical findings into actionable business decisions. The ideal candidate will be self-directed, thrive in ambiguous environments, and be capable of defining processes where none exist.

Responsibilities

  • Drive cross-functional coordination across sourcing, materials management, commodity management, and manufacturing intelligence teams.
  • Own project timelines, status tracking, and escalation paths for risk-intelligence initiatives.
  • Manage stakeholder intake by collecting, validating, and reconciling supplier and component data from multiple teams.
  • Facilitate regular reviews and translate technical findings into actionable business decisions.
  • Track and drive the completion of data-validation tasks across distributed teams.
  • Identify and resolve dependencies before they become blockers.
  • Validate and cleanse internal bill of materials, manufacturer part number, and supplier data to identify gaps and inconsistencies.
  • Build and maintain reports and analytics that communicate supply risk to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Define data-quality standards and ongoing governance processes.
  • Support tool and dashboard requirements by translating business needs into clear specifications.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in program management, business operations, supply chain analytics, or a hybrid program manager/analyst role.
  • Proven ability to drive cross-functional workstreams, coordinate across multiple teams, and unblock dependencies.
  • Demonstrated stakeholder-management skills, with comfort in engaging senior leads for deliverables and decisions.
  • Data literacy with proficiency in SQL, data analysis, dataset quality assurance, and report building.
  • Experience with data validation and governance workflows.
  • Excellent structured communication skills for status updates, escalations, and decision documentation.
  • Ability to work autonomously and define processes in ambiguous situations.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Background in supply chain, procurement, or hardware operations.
  • Familiarity with bill of materials (BOM) management, approved vendor list (AVL) processes, or component sourcing.
  • Experience with project management tools and techniques.
  • Comfort with AI tools and Python for data manipulation or light automation.
  • Understanding of electronic component markets and lifecycle dynamics.
  • Experience in large-scale hardware or infrastructure organizations.
