About the role

The position is designed to ideate, implement, and create innovative supply chain products and solutions that will create seamless flow of packages across Amazon Supply Chain. This is a high impact role with an opportunity to influence and help build one of the highest visibility areas of NA Stores.

Responsibilities

  • Build mechanisms and define metrics to continuously evaluate and improve inbound and outbound connectivity of the storage and distribution network.
  • Partner with Product Manager, Research Scientist, Operations, and Finance to evaluate different connectivity strategies.
  • Identify process gaps through deep dive of metrics and make operational improvements (e.g., automation, self-service, etc.).
  • Conduct independent research to identify supply chain inefficiencies, recommend solves, and influence partner teams to prioritize and execute.
  • Work with Operations and support teams on execution-related challenges.
  • Perform independent data analysis to help drive partner teams and make recommendations and decisions about the network.
  • Review requirements, designs, and strategy documents.
  • Deep dive technical challenges with developer, product, or PMT/TPM partners across internal technical organizations.
  • Compose whitepapers ("hold the pen") for senior leadership reviews to define strategy.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of program or project management experience
  • 5+ years of supply chain experience
  • Experience using data and metrics to determine and drive improvements
  • Experience owning program strategy, end to end delivery, and communicating results to senior leadership
  • Bachelor's degree

Qualifications

  • 2+ years of driving process improvements experience
  • Master's degree, or MBA in business, operations, human resources, adult education, organizational development, instructional design or related field
