P&L Cost Planning

This role will design and build cost planning models that integrate into existing revenue and demand planning frameworks, creating a connected P&L view across modes. It involves partnering with Network Operations, Finance, and Pricing stakeholders to source cost inputs, validate assumptions, and align on planning methodologies.

The ideal candidate should be able to build SQL-based analytical models to decompose and forecast costs by mode, lane, and operational driver. They should also develop scalable, repeatable processes to replace ad-hoc cost analyses, taking the function from early-stage to mature.

Identifying and quantifying margin improvement opportunities through data analysis and cross-functional collaboration is another key responsibility. Managing multiple workstreams simultaneously, navigating ambiguity, and delivering results with incomplete information are also part of the role.

Assisting with ad-hoc cost and margin analyses as business needs evolve is expected as well.
