With proprietary designs, deep technical expertise, and large‑scale production capabilities, the team develops solar array solutions tailored to each customer’s size, power, and orbital needs. At the heart of these offerings is Redwire’s patented Roll-Out Solar Array (ROSA), an award‑winning system that uses composite booms and modular photovoltaic blankets to create compactly stowable, highly efficient solar arrays. These mission-proven power systems have supported successful deployments across LEO, GEO, and deep space missions, including the ISS, NASA’s IXPE mission, and NASA’s DART mission.
Summary Redwire Space Enterprises is seeking a Senior Supplier Quality Engineer to join our team in Goleta, CA. In this role, you will ensure that new and existing suppliers—and the products they deliver—meet site, program, and quality requirements. You will support both the Quality and Procurement organizations by assessing supplier capabilities, driving issue resolution, and contributing to supplier development and continuous improvement efforts. This position plays a key role in maintaining strong supplier relationships and supporting the successful delivery of high‑reliability aerospace hardware.
Responsibilities
Supplier Quality Management:
- Support supplier quality assurance processes and maintain compliance with established Quality Management System procedures.
- Review engineering specifications to help determine proper supplier selection.
- Conduct supplier assessments, audits, performance reviews, and periodic re-certification activities.
