Key job responsibilities

  • Lead supplier qualification, audits, process controls, failure analysis and continuous improvement to ensure robust, repeatable, and compliant manufacturing at all tiers of the supply chain
  • Define and scale Leo's quality system to ensure early detection of process excursions, improving product reliability and wafer component yields in volume manufacturing
  • Lead root-cause analysis for supplier and internal related defects including test failures and device level failures
  • Oversee screening and qualification flows (burn-in, thermal cycling, solderability, SEM/EDS, x-Ray, and other advanced failure investigation and qualification techniques)
  • Influence suppliers and drive performance improvements
  • Own systems, tools, and business processes used to manage device traceability and key quality/test metrics
  • Represent Leo Supplier Quality in cross-functional initiatives
  • Travel as needed to accomplish program objectives

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience with analog, digital, and high-speed circuit design
  • 5+ years of experience in developing functional specifications, design verification plans and functional test procedures
  • Background in aerospace, satellite hardware, or telecom infrastructure
  • Knowledge of plating process, die/package assembly, bonding and contamination control processes both at the device and PCBA level
  • AS9100D Lead Auditor Trained/Certified
  • Direct experience deploying JEDEC/IPC/APQP/PPAP methodologies per AS9145 or equivalent standards

Preferred Qualifications

  • Master's degree in Electrical Engineering
  • Working knowledge of IEEE standards applicable to electrical components and interconnect

Pay

  • USA, CA, San Diego: $137,300.00 - $185,700.00 USD annually
  • USA, CA, Sunnyvale: $157,900.00 - $213,600.00 USD annually
  • USA, WA, Bellevue: $137,300.00 - $185,700.00 USD annually

Your Amazon package will include sign-on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, qualifications, and location.
