Sr Supplier Qual Engineer

New Product Development Supplier Quality Engineer

Pay range: 45-60/h depending on experience

Responsibilities

• Supports new product launches, focusing on Regional Expansions, Design Changes, and Supplier Development
• Ensures suppliers deliver quality parts, materials, and services
• Qualifies suppliers according to company standards and administers a Certified Supplier Program in receiving inspection
• Maintains communication and resolves supplier-related problems during the manufacturing cycle
• Develops and prioritizes an auditing schedule to ensure designated suppliers meet GMP and quality standards
• Evaluates suppliers' internal functions to assess their performance and provides feedback

Requirements

• Manufacturing / Production Controls experience, specifically in translating design outputs/specifications into production controls
• Risk Management, including identifying risks and implementing risk mitigations
• Process Validation

Qualifications

• Education: Ideal candidates fulfill Senior Level Position requirements, but Quality Engineer 2 level experience is also acceptable
• Experience: 5+ years of relevant experience
