Sr. Superintendent - Data Center (Bilingual, TRAVEL)

About the role

The Sr. Superintendent - Data Center is responsible for leading construction projects across multiple data centers, ensuring projects are completed safely, on schedule, and to the highest quality standards.

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise construction teams on-site, ensuring adherence to project plans, schedules, and safety protocols.
• Cook up with project managers, engineers, subcontractors, and clients to facilitate smooth operations and clear communication.
• Review blueprints, schematics, and construction documents to verify accuracy and implementation.
• Manage project scheduling using Primavera P6 or similar construction management software to meet deadlines.
• Oversee quality control measures, conduct inspections, and ensure compliance with OSHA standards and other regulations.
• Maintain project budgets, track costs, and assist with construction estimating using HeavyBid or comparable tools.
• Utilize construction management software such as ProCore and Bluebeam for documentation, reporting, and collaboration.
• Conduct site safety audits, enforce safety policies including OSHA requirements, and address any hazards promptly.
• Read and interpret schematics and technical drawings; utilize tools like ohmmeters for electrical testing when necessary.
• Travel between multiple project sites as required to oversee progress and resolve issues efficiently.

Skills

• Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish (or other relevant languages) for effective communication across diverse teams.
• Extensive experience in construction management within data center or similar high-tech environments.
• Strong supervisory skills with proven success managing teams on large-scale projects.
• Proficiency in Primavera P6 for project scheduling; familiarity with Primavera P6 is essential.
• Knowledge of construction estimating tools such as HeavyBid; experience with blueprints reading and schematics is required.
• Familiarity with construction safety standards including OSHA regulations; ability to enforce safety protocols effectively.
• Experience with construction management software like ProCore and Bluebeam for documentation purposes.
• Ability to read technical schematics; experience with electrical testing tools such as ohmmeters is a plus.
• Skilled in budgeting, contract management, and managing project timelines from start to finish.
• Willingness to travel frequently between project sites; flexibility is key for success in this role.

Qualifications

• Minimum 10 years of experience in construction management, preferably in data center or high-tech environments.
• Proven leadership and supervisory skills with a track record of successful project completion.
• Advanced knowledge of construction safety standards and OSHA regulations.
• Proficiency in Primavera P6 and HeavyBid.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, especially in a bilingual environment.
