We are seeking a dynamic Senior Superintendent that is looking for a company where they can learn and grow.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for all the field staff on a project and ensuring projects are built according to plans and specifications.
• Supervise work of carpenters, laborers and subcontractors.
• Ensure material, tools/equipment, information and staff requirements are on the jobsite in the proper place in a timely fashion.
• Handle all correspondence and forms required by the rand* office, including daily reports, time sheets, safety reports, accident reports, etc.
• Monitor work being performed, direct subcontractors and schedule all work according to the requirements of the project schedule.
• Utilize management skills in directing supervision of subcontractors, and coordinate subcontractor's activities within the scope of their duties.

Requirements

• High School Diploma required; two years of college preferred.
• 15 years’ experience as lead superintendent on commercial interior, retail or building renovation projects.
• Exemplary performance in all project safety related categories.
• Periodically audit jobsites during site walks to ensure standards are being met.
• Aid teams with complex and specialty quality control issues.
• Aid teams with pre-punch walks to identify quality trends and ensure smooth/timely punch list process.
• Set the example of "do and teach" by training and coaching Superintendents at all levels to meet rand*'s high standards of administration and organization.

Qualifications

• Must have 15+ years’ experience as lead superintendent on commercial interior, retail, or building renovation projects.
• Proven track record of independent judgment and decision-making when faced with matters of executive or non-routine nature.
• Ability to anticipate and be proactive.
• Ability to deal professionally and diplomatically with individuals at all levels.
• Able to troubleshoot and solve highly complex project-related issues with all levels of team members.
• Able to prioritize multiple assignments with a strong attention to detail.

• Ability to manage deadlines and deliver as needed.
• Proficiency in managing subcontractors and coordinating their activities.
