Responsibilities

  • Lead and contribute to the structural design of large-scale commercial building projects, including office, healthcare, sports, and mixed-use developments.
  • Perform structural analysis and design for steel, concrete, and other structural systems in accordance with applicable codes and industry standards.
  • Develop construction documents and structural models using Revit, BIM, and other advanced design technologies.
  • Collaborate with architects, developers, contractors, and multidisciplinary project teams throughout all phases of project delivery.
  • Manage project tasks, schedules, budgets, and client expectations while ensuring the delivery of high-quality engineering solutions.
  • Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineering staff.
  • Participate in client meetings and help build long-term relationships through exceptional service and technical expertise.
  • Contribute to innovative, practical, and efficient design solutions that balance performance, constructability, and value.
  • Support projects across the United States and, when applicable, international markets.

Requirements

  • 6–11 years of structural engineering experience focused on building design.
  • Master's degree in Civil Engineering with a Structural Engineering emphasis.
  • Active Professional Engineer (PE) license.
  • Strong background in structural analysis and design of building structures.
  • Proficiency with Revit and experience working within BIM-enabled project environments.
  • Demonstrated project management experience and progressive career advancement.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a client-focused mindset.
  • Ability to thrive in a collaborative, fast-paced environment while managing multiple priorities.

Qualifications

  • Experience serving as a project engineer or project manager on complex building projects.
  • EIT certification prior to obtaining PE licensure.
  • Experience coordinating with multidisciplinary design teams.
  • Familiarity with building enclosure, parking, transportation, infrastructure, or related design disciplines.
  • Passion for innovative structural solutions, emerging technologies, and continuous professional development.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $100000.00 - $150000.00/yr.
