Sr Structural Engineer

Responsibilities

• Lead design efforts for the analysis of structural systems and develop designs, specifications, and calculations
• Perform site assessments and generate detailed analysis and technical reports
• Partner with clients to understand needs, gather requirements, and communicate technical information effectively
• Provide in-process design reviews of structural system design, calculations, specifications, and project correspondence

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science (BS) Degree in Civil, Structural, or Architectural Engineering, or equivalent, required
• Professional Engineer (PE) License required
• 7 years of experience minimum required, 12 preferred, in the building design consulting industry
• Mastery of design techniques, tools, and concepts involved in the production of technical plans and specifications
• Expert in structural design and mechanics, with comprehensive knowledge of building systems and material standards across steel, concrete, wood, and masonry
• Ability to travel up to 20% with occasional overnight stays
