Sr. Structural Designer

About the role

As a Sr. Structural Designer, you will be responsible for designing and reviewing structural systems for new and existing buildings to ensure compliance with building codes and safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Develops and reviews structural designs for various projects.
• Collaborates with architects, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure design integrity and project success.
• Ensures all designs meet safety and regulatory requirements.
• Participates in construction meetings to discuss design issues and provide technical support.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Structural Engineering or related field.
• Minimum 5 years of professional structural engineering experience.
• Proficiency in structural analysis software such as SAP2000, ETABS, or similar.
• Strong understanding of building codes and regulations.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

Qualifications

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Experience with structural detailing and construction documentation.
• Knowledge of steel, concrete, and wood structures.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.

Pay

The salary range for this position is $80,000 - $120,000 annually, depending on experience.

Schedule
