About the Opportunity
The Sr Strategic Sourcing Manager role is responsible for leading sourcing initiatives to optimize supplier selection and achieve cost savings across a substantial company spend. This position plays a critical role in enabling business operations through strategic procurement, reducing contractual risks, and fostering strong partnerships across departments to align sourcing strategies with organizational goals.
Responsibilities
- Drive supplier selection to achieve year-over-year savings on over $600 million spend
- Manage category sourcing in HR, Finance, Tax, Contingent Workforce, Sales, GTM, Benefits, Workplace Services, Facilities, Real Estate, and Security
- Support business operations by governing spend and mitigating contractual risks
- Oversee sourcing and contracting processes including evaluation, negotiation, and contract renewal
- Identify and apply sourcing industry trends to enhance strategic sourcing
- Build partnerships with business functions to provide sourcing consultation
- Communicate strategic and tactical sourcing directions to business partners
- Collaborate with legal to ensure globally consistent contracting practices
Requirements
- 10+ years of strategic and operational sourcing and procurement experience
- Expertise in Professional Services and related sub-categories such as IT Services, Contingent Workforce, Consulting, Employee Benefits, and others
- Proven ability to build and lead teams and service partnerships
- Strong negotiation skills and relationship management at all organizational levels
- Deep knowledge of contract development and legal considerations
- Strong project management and strategic implementation skills
- Customer-focused with experience influencing and negotiating among business partners
- Financial acumen including budget and business case development
- Relevant industry certifications such as CPP, CPPM preferred; MBA is an advantage
Pay Range and Compensation Package
Base pay range of $139,900 - $244,800, plus equity (when applicable), variable/incentive compensation, and benefits. Compensation varies based on qualifications, skill level, competencies, and work location.
