About the role
For our client, we are seeking a Sr. Strategic Commercial Banking Consultant to join the team of a leader in the Finance & Insurance space. This role will lead strategic implementation engagements for financial institutions, translating complex commercial banking operations into scalable solutions. The consultant will serve as a senior subject matter expert, partnering with executive stakeholders and cross-functional teams to shape implementation strategy and improve customer onboarding outcomes. This position also plays a key role in solution design, workflow validation, and thought leadership around best practices in commercial banking and treasury services.
Responsibilities
- Lead strategic commercial banking implementation engagements for financial institutions
- Serve as the senior subject matter expert on commercial banking functionality
- Partner with executive stakeholders to analyze operational models and recommend implementation approaches
- Drive solution design by mapping client operations to platform capabilities
- Influence implementation strategy and customer onboarding outcomes through cross-functional collaboration
- Facilitate user acceptance testing and validate business workflows prior to deployment
- Provide thought leadership on best practices and industry trends in commercial banking operations
Qualifications
- 10-15 years of experience in commercial banking consulting or enterprise banking implementations
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Information Systems, Banking, or a related field
- Deep expertise in commercial banking operations and treasury management services
- Strong analytical skills to translate complex customer operational models into scalable solutions
- Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills across various audiences
Pay
$125,600 – $157,000 annually
