Sr Statistician - Site Location Analyst

Responsibilities

• Serves as an advanced-level customer analytics leader with a focus on gravity model sales forecasting.
• Supports H-E-B’s real estate program and new store pipeline.
• Works on sales forecasting for new stores, expansions, remodels, and competitive impacts.
• Develops and delivers analytical solutions that meet business needs independently.
• Mentors and develops less experienced analysts.

Requirements

• A related degree or comparable formal training, certification, or work experience.
• 5+ years of experience in advanced analytics at a senior / leadership level.
• 3+ years of experience using statistical software such as SitesPlus, Locus, SAS, SPSS, R, and spatial models.

Qualifications

• Working knowledge of relational databases, SQL, and advanced analytics techniques (e.g., logistic / linear regression modeling, clustering, sampling, decision trees).
• Familiarity with BI tools such as MicroStrategy.
• Experience with Alteryx or similar software.
• Advanced computer skills, including MS Office.
• Strong analytical and project management skills.
• Strong verbal/written communication and presentation skills.
• Strong organization and time management skills.
• Personal leadership skills, including the ability to manage multiple priorities and shift focus between tasks, attention to detail, initiative, willingness to take risks, and the ability to influence different audiences.

Skills
