About the role
Join our team as a Sound Designer. You will be responsible for creating immersive audio experiences that enhance the overall viewing or listening experience.
Responsibilities
- Create and refine sound designs for various media formats including films, TV shows, video games, and more.
- Collaborate with directors, producers, and other audio professionals to ensure sound design aligns with creative vision.
- Utilize advanced software tools to manipulate and edit audio elements to achieve desired effects.
- Ensure sound design adheres to industry standards and Dolby’s proprietary audio technology.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Audio Engineering, Film Production, or related field.
- Minimum 3 years of professional experience in sound design or related field.
- Strong understanding of audio principles, acoustics, and spatial audio techniques.
- Proficiency in sound editing software such as Pro Tools, Avid Media Composer, or similar.
- Excellent communication skills to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
Qualifications
- Experience working on high-profile projects with a focus on quality and innovation.
- Knowledge of Dolby Atmos and other advanced audio technologies.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Passion for storytelling through sound and a commitment to excellence.
Skills
- Advanced audio editing and post-production skills.
- Understanding of audio mixing and mastering techniques.
- Knowledge of audio compression and equalization.
- Experience with Foley recording and sound effects creation.
