Sr Staff Cyber Security Architect

For our client, a leader in the Business Services space, we are seeking a Senior Staff Cyber Security Architect to join their team. This role will lead technical work focused on secure, reliable systems and risk-aware execution, working across engineering, product, operations, and business stakeholders to translate complex requirements into practical technology solutions. The position offers the opportunity to influence architecture, execution quality, and the technology capabilities that enable long-term growth.

Location: Remote - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available

Responsibilities

• Serve as a security architecture expert for AWS and Azure
• Conduct security architecture reviews aligned with governance models
• Draft secure-by-design target system architectures
• Publish risk assessment reports outlining cyber risks and controls
• Develop reusable solution patterns for consistent design policies
• Research and analyze emerging technologies and trends
• Foster collaboration and influence across the security architecture team

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, IT, Cybersecurity, or related field
• 8+ years of enterprise IT and/or cybersecurity experience
• 3+ years of cybersecurity architecture experience
• Industry-recognized security certifications such as CISSP or Azure Security certification are preferred
• Working knowledge of AWS and Azure deployment environments

Pay

$127,600 – $212,600 annually
