Sr Staff AI Architect

About the role

This is a remote role open in the US only.

Key Responsibilities

• Define enterprise architecture patterns for GenAI (RAG, agents, orchestration frameworks), Data platforms (lakehouse/warehouse architectures) and API/microservices-based integrations
• Establish standards for scalability, reliability, cost optimization, and observability
• Lead governance for AI systems, including data privacy and compliance
• Create reusable frameworks and reference architectures for squads
• Conduct architecture reviews and risk assessments
• Guide cloud infrastructure design and infrastructure as code strategies
• Partner with leadership to shape long term AI and data strategy

Required Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience in enterprise data and AI architecture
• Deep expertise in cloud platforms (AWS/Azure)
• Strong understanding of modern data architectures (lakehouse, streaming, data governance)
• Proven experience designing enterprise GenAI architectures
• Experience defining security, access control, and compliance frameworks
• Strong influencing and stakeholder management skills

Good to Have Skills

• Experience with Databricks, Dataiku or vector databases
• Knowledge of CRM/ERP integration architecture
• Background in supply chain or commercial analytics ecosystems
• Experience architecting enterprise RPA (UiPath) platforms
• Knowledge of Intelligent Process Automation (IPA) frameworks combining AI + RPA

Education

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, Engineering, Data Science, or equivalent experience

Pay and Benefits

The salary range estimated for this position based in California is $143,000.00–$185,000.00. This position may also be eligible to receive a variable annual bonus based on company, team, and/or individual performance results in accordance with company policy.
