About the role

The Senior Specialty Sales Professional role focuses on gaining and leveraging an understanding of the customers’ objectives across their full spectrum of needs. This role involves expanding relationships with customers such as hand, orthopedic, and plastic surgeons.

Responsibilities

  • Cover the Encino/Simi Valley or Thousand Oaks area in the Valley and parts of Los Angeles.
  • Create and maintain call objectives for the geography with minimal consultation from the Area Sales Manager (ASM).
  • Develop and execute an individual prescriber plan of action for maximum selling opportunity as developed through the territory business plan.
  • Understand and use approved promotional materials to support marketing messages.
  • Employ effective selling model and techniques aligning to current strategies set forth by Keenova Therapeutics.
  • Attain and maintain performance guidelines for the following metrics: call activity, appropriate utilization of samples, Quarterly Business Plan update.
  • Incorporate and execute on all expectations regarding adherence to all FDA, PDMA, HPPA, and Keenova established Policies on all interactions with Healthcare Professionals.
  • Maintain and expand market and professional knowledge.
  • Manage sample accountability program.
  • Synchronize, check email, and voicemail at least once a day.
  • Complete weekly activity reports as needed.
  • Update ASM on territory business plan on a quarterly basis.
  • Complete and track expense reports every 2 weeks at minimum or at the discretion of the ASM.
  • Maintain & Expand Market & Professional Knowledge.
  • Prepare for, attend, and actively participate in all required sales conferences and training classes at local and/or remote locations.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree or relevant work experience in Biopharmaceutical Industry.
  • B2B sales experience required.
  • Must have a valid driver’s license and ability to safely operate a motor vehicle.

Physical Requirements

  • Overnight travel is necessary (30% or more).
  • Territory specific.
  • Ability to safely operate a motor vehicle.
  • Ability to lift up to 10 pounds.

Pay

The expected base pay range for this position is $120K - $172K. Please note that base pay offered may vary depending on factors including job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.

Schedule

This position is eligible for a bonus in accordance with the terms of the applicable program. Bonuses are awarded at the Company’s discretion.
