About the Role

Amazon Web Services is seeking a Solutions Architect to support our US DoW and Federal Civilian Government customers in the DC Metro area. AWS is looking for a solutions architect for our Data team, who will be the Subject Matter Expert (SME) helping customers to design complex solutions. As part of the team, you will work closely with Global Government customers to enable large-scale use cases and drive the adoption of advanced AWS services. You will interact with other Solution Architects in the field, providing guidance on their customer engagements, and you will develop white papers, blogs, reference implementations, and presentations to enable customers to fully leverage AWS. Our Specialist Solutions Architects are regarded as technical "thought leaders" within the US Federal Community who evangelize emerging technologies not only on a conceptual level, but also on a practical, architectural level. Our SA's play a critical role in the widespread adoption and advancement of cloud computing capabilities within the DoW and FedCIV Community. They think outside of the box to deliver results and provide solutions that are cost-effective, mission-focused, and secure. On our team, you will work backwards from our customers to develop AWS data solutions and migrate complex workloads to the AWS cloud.

  • Partner with Sales Specialist teams to define the technical components of best in class GTM concepts, solutions, and initiatives.
  • Develop and support an AWS internal community of technical subject matter experts worldwide.
