About the role
In a fast-moving and increasingly complex world, L3Harris is seeking a dynamic Project Engineer who will provide technical leadership. Under general direction, the Project Engineer will implement design and analysis tasks, oversee special studies, and coordinate testing activities.
Responsibilities
- Provide imaginative, thorough, and practicable solutions to a wide range of technical problems involving conventional utilization of engineering techniques
- Read, interpret, and write specifications and technical documents
- Prepare technical and design requirements in support of project goals
- Keep current in relevant technologies and methods in support of project assignments
- Provide direction in problem investigations and resolution across functional areas
- Understand and/or lead Root Cause and Corrective Action (RCCA) process
- Review and approve engineering drawings
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree and minimum 6 years of prior relevant experience
- Graduate Degree and a minimum of 4 years of prior related experience
- In lieu of a degree, minimum of 10 years of prior related experience
Skills
- Experience as an Integrated Product Team Leader (IPTL) and/or Control Account Manager (CAM)
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office software
- Energetic design/manufacturing experience is desired
- Ability to communicate, both verbally and in writing, with technical and non-technical professionals at all levels
- Ability to establish and maintain priorities in a dynamic environment
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Strong ethical judgment
Pay
In compliance with pay transparency requirements, the salary range for this role in Colorado state is $110,500-$205,500. This is not a guarantee of compensation or salary, as final offer amount may vary based on factors including but not limited to experience and geographic location.
