About the Role
We are seeking a sales professional to represent the Aesculap Neurosurgery Portfolio for the Alabama/Florida Panhandle market. The candidate must reside within the assigned territory. The Neurosurgery Sales Specialist will lead the growth of cranial implant and neurosurgical capital equipment portfolios, serving as a trusted clinical and business partner to neurosurgeons, hospital executives, supply chain leaders, and operating room staff.
Responsibilities
- Lead complex, high-value capital sales cycles, including needs assessment, product demonstrations, proposal development, pricing strategy, negotiation, and closing.
- Serve as a trusted clinical expert and strategic advisor to neurosurgeons, plastics, ENT, OR staff, and hospital leadership.
- Provide advanced in-service education and real-time intraoperative support for cranial implant procedures, ensuring proper product use and optimal clinical outcomes.
- Navigate hospital value analysis committees (VAC), capital review boards, and contracting processes in collaboration with internal stakeholders.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers, including C-suite executives, supply chain, biomedical engineering, and materials management.
- Identify new business opportunities and drive market development by converting competitive accounts and expanding product adoption.
- Develop and manage accurate sales forecasts, pipeline reporting, and territory analytics to inform strategic planning.

Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree required.
- 2+ years of medical device sales experience required.
- Valid Driver’s License.
- Operating Room-based selling experience required.
It is an essential function of this position to be present in-person at the physical site(s) of our customers and potential customers, including clinical settings such as hospitals and clinics. Compliance with Healthcare Customers’ requirements, including vaccinations (e.g., COVID-19, seasonal influenza, Hepatitis B Virus) and vendor credentialing (e.g., background checks, drug screening), is mandatory.
Pay
Base Salary: $85,000 - $100,000 (plus incentive compensation and company vehicle). The range reflects factors such as skill sets, experience, training, licensure, certifications, and business needs.
