About the role
Join AT&T's network transformation team to develop and integrate AI-driven automation solutions that improve telecommunications operations, service delivery, and operational efficiency. This role combines software engineering, systems integration, network automation, and telecom expertise to support intelligent network operations and next-generation platform modernization.
Responsibilities
- Develop, test, and support AI-powered automation solutions for network operations.
- Build and validate integrations across operational systems, APIs, and network platforms.
- Create and maintain lab environments that simulate production network architectures.
- Support onboarding of network infrastructure, services, and applications into enterprise platforms.
- Analyze logs, telemetry, and system data to troubleshoot integration and operational issues.
- Collaborate with engineering, operations, and architecture teams to resolve complex technical challenges.
- Develop technical documentation, test plans, deployment guides, and operational procedures.
- Contribute to AI-enabled automation, analytics, observability, and intelligent operations initiatives.
Requirements
- Experience with Python or similar programming languages for automation and testing.
- Knowledge of APIs, systems integration, microservices, and distributed applications.
- Understanding of telecommunications networks, OSS platforms, and network lifecycle processes.
- Experience with Linux, Git, CI/CD pipelines, containers, and automation frameworks.
- Familiarity with AI/ML, Generative AI, analytics, or intelligent automation technologies.
- Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and communication skills.
- Experience supporting telecom network operations, automation, or systems integration initiatives.
- Ability to bridge network engineering expertise with software development and AI solutions.
- Knowledge of network provisioning, activation, assurance, inventory, and orchestration workflows.
- Experience working with telemetry, monitoring, observability, and operational analytics.
- Passion for innovation, continuous learning, and operational transformation.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Telecommunications, Electrical Engineering, or related field.
- Experience with network automation, AI-driven operations, or intelligent orchestration platforms.
- Exposure to cloud-native technologies, autonomous networks, and software-defined networking.
- Experience building automation frameworks, analytics solutions, or AI-enabled operational tools.
Pay
Salary range: $128,100.00 - $192,100.00 USD Annual. Individual starting salary within this range may depend on geography, experience, expertise, and education/training.
