About the role

The Media Operations team focuses on hands-on-keyboard activation of digital channels, including tagging, trafficking, buying, and more, ensuring consistency, governance, and support around platform usage and activation activities.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the development and execution of media plans and independently own client communications and platform trainings.
  • Use your knowledge of client business and collaboration skills to identify and action upon client service opportunities in partnership with internal teams.
  • Your technical expertise will enrich the experience of junior team members, inclusive of proactively knowledge sharing and demonstrating best practices.
  • Own media strategy and campaign planning, builds, and ongoing management of our clients’ media efforts, including QA.
  • Build trust and rapport with clients and own client communications and updates, review requests and questions, and troubleshoot issues on platforms and media execution.
  • Work effectively with team members to complete day-to-day tasks for both clients and internal efforts and actively seek opportunities to guide junior team members in need of assistance with tasks (internal and external).
  • Collaborate with peers to receive learnings, from both internal and external sources.
  • Learn and act on explicit motivations/needs of both internal and external stakeholders, build baseline trust & rapport via written & verbal communication, and actively seek to understand and improve the client experience.
  • Execute on media platforms across Programmatic, Social, and Search channels such as, but not limited to…Programmatic DSPs: DV360, TTD, Amazon DSP, etc., Ad Servers: Campaign Manager, Social Buying Platforms: Meta, LinkedIn, X, TikTok, Snapchat, Reddit, Search Engines & Search Management Platforms: Google Ads, Microsoft Ads, SA360.
  • Utilize internal tools and processes for day-to-day work and task completion, e.g. Slack, GSuite, Salesforce, Workday, etc.
  • Keep up to date on Monks offerings and changes within the ad industry, and identify opportunities to enhance client services.

Requirements

We're looking for well-rounded team members who can demonstrate not only strong technical proficiency and professional communication skills, but also the ability to influence team members to produce skilled work and the initiative to gather relevant resources for the facilitation of client needs.

Intermediate proficiency in at least three platforms relevant to our Media team, and conceptual understanding of the Media landscape and how platforms fit into the ecosystem.

  • Programmatic DSPs: DV360, TTD, Amazon DSP, etc.
  • Ad Servers: Campaign Manager
  • Social Buying Platforms: Meta, LinkedIn, X, TikTok, Snapchat, Reddit
  • Search Engines & Search Management Platforms: Google Ads, Microsoft Ads, SA360

Ability to identify and act on explicitly stated problems, roadblocks, and next steps.

Able to work with and contextualize data on a regular basis, including identification of necessary and/or helpful inputs, accurate and consistent manipulation of data sets, and analysis against data to identify trends, outliers, and/or important outputs.

To host 'professional grade' meetings, complete with agendas.

To meet self-imposed and external deadlines, honor and deliver on verbal & written commitments, exhibit attention to detail on own work and others’ work, and an ability to utilize professional formatting on own work, and recognize areas for professional formatting improvement on own and other’s work.

Strong organizational skills to manage one-off tasks and larger or longer initiatives, and to manage your own work in conjunction with team needs and priorities.

Strong self and social awareness skills, demonstrating an ability to moderate your own personal state and stress and recognize how to best work with clients, teams, and individual peers.

To recognize areas for improvement and develop others.

Experience working in a professional setting with team members and clients.

3 years or more in a relevant Media role or environment.

This role is subject to our Return to Office (RTO) policy.

If you reside within a commutable distance of one of our office locations, you will be expected to work from the office a set number of days per week.

The specific details, including the number of required office days, will be in accordance with the company’s then-current RTO policy, which is subject to change from time to time.

Monks has provided a compensation range that represents its good faith estimate of what Monks may pay for the position at the time of posting.

Monks may ultimately pay more or less than the posted compensation range.

The salary offered to the selected candidate will be determined based on job-related factors, but not based on a candidate’s sex or any other protected status.

Salary Range: $100,000—$110,000 USD
