For our client, we are seeking a Sr Specialist M&A to join the team of a leader in the Real Estate & Construction space. This role will serve as a key people integration partner across mergers and acquisitions, helping ensure transactions are translated into effective workforce outcomes. You will guide activities from due diligence through post-integration, aligning people strategy, governance, and communications with business objectives. The position works closely with senior leadership and cross-functional stakeholders to build scalable integration practices and support smooth transitions for acquired employees. Location: Remote - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available Compensation: $110,000 – $130,000 annually Responsibilities Serve as a strategic advisor linking people integration to business objectives and employee outcomes Provide guidance across all stages of the M&A lifecycle, from due diligence to post-integration Proactively anticipate needs, recommend actions, and frame decisions for leadership Build scalable People M&A capabilities through standards and practices Lead organizational and cultural due diligence activities and analyze findings Coordinate integrated workplans and drive initiatives to completion Facilitate communication and governance among stakeholders to ensure accountability Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Business, HR, Organizational Development, Finance, or a related field 4-7+ years of experience in HR M&A, integration management, or related fields Proven ability to lead complex, cross-functional initiatives independently Strong program and project management skills, including governance and reporting Ability to operate with integrity and discretion while handling sensitive information Exceptional stakeholder management and communication skills Strong business acumen to align people strategies with business objectives Benefits Opportunity to shape and execute a comprehensive People Enablement strategy Support in transitioning acquired employees and managing change Work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with senior leadership Access to a collaborative cross-functional team Potential to drive continuous improvement and innovation in the M&A process Our client is an equal opportunity employer.
