Sr. Sourcing Manager

Responsibilities
- Own category performance across cost, service, quality, and risk
- Develop and execute sourcing strategies across hard parts, vehicle systems, eCommerce, and batteries
- Drive total cost of ownership through supplier optimization, consolidation, and should-cost analysis
- Monitor market dynamics and adjust strategies proactively
- Lead sourcing, negotiations, and contract execution
- Build strategic supplier partnerships and manage performance (on time in full, quality, cost)
- Mitigate risk through dual sourcing and continuity planning
- Oversee forecasting, material requirements planning, and replenishment across manufacturing, projects, and eCommerce
- Balance service levels, inventory investment, and supply risk
- Support escalation on shortages and critical delays
- Lead and develop buyers/planners
- Drive accountability, execution discipline, and capability building
- Partner with Operations, Engineering, Field Services, eCommerce, and Finance
- Support product launches and commercial initiatives
- Own multi-million-dollar spend and deliver cost and margin improvements
- Improve inventory turns, working capital, and supplier performance
- Ensure alignment across contracts, pricing, and enterprise resource planning
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business, Engineering, or related field
- 10+ years of sourcing/procurement experience, including 1–3 years in leadership
- Experience managing complex, multi-channel categories (industrial, project-based, or high-SKU/eCommerce)
- Strong track record in supplier negotiations, cost modeling, and risk management
- Experience leading or mentoring teams
- Proficiency in enterprise resource planning/materials resource planning systems (JDE, SAP, Oracle) and advanced Excel/analytics (BI tools a plus)
- Solid understanding of logistics, fulfillment, and landed cost
- Association for Supply Chain Management Certified in Planning and Inventory Management/ Certified Supply Chain Professional (APICS CPIM / CSCP)Certified Professional in Supply Management (CPSM)
- Proven experience managing complex, multi-channel categories, including: Battery or regulated product categories

Pay
The anticipated hiring range for the role is between $118,505 and $150,949 annually. This range is based on several factors, including experience and qualifications, education and certifications, market and industry benchmarks, and internal equity.
