The role We're looking for a Senior Solutions Engineer to join the company's growing platform team in Austin, Texas. Solutions Engineers work with partners to build integrations to the company's payment products, while extending the capabilities of its public API. The team's goal is to drive growth through partnerships and integrations by building a world-class product set delivered through third parties. What You Will Do Provide technical consulting and product guidance to banks and other partners integrating the platform, primarily post-saleMake sure partners deliver the best possible integration within their constraints, for an excellent end-customer experienceSupport partners through implementation, defining technical solutions and documenting requirementsSupport business development by helping larger partners that need novel features, including technical scoping and feature designTake part in feature definition, prioritisation and long-term strategy planning with the platform teamWork with Implementation Managers, Product Managers and Engineers to make product and project decisionsDesign and develop new features and expose them on the public API where neededHelp scale the platform into new regions and solve the challenges that come with itImprove the integration experience through documentation, APIs, SDKs, code samples and reference implementationsWork with the technical presales team to support the sales cycle and win new partnershipsImprove internal processes so the team can run multiple integrations in parallelTroubleshoot, test and resolve technical issues, supporting the API support team on complex problems Why this role Ownership. What We're Looking For 6+ years in customer-facing engineering roles, ideally in financial services or a similar domain (for example solutions engineer, IT consultant, partner engineer, integration engineer or solutions consultant)Strong problem-solving and organisational skills, with the ability to handle ambiguity and competing prioritiesFamiliarity with common design patterns and architectural principles, including domain-driven design, event-driven architecture and microservicesFamiliarity with Java (Spring), Kubernetes, AWS and service mesh architectures, plus RESTful APIs, API design, Swagger/OpenAPI and OAuth2Working experience with relational databases (such as MySQL or PostgreSQL) and non-relational databases (such as MongoDB or Cassandra)Clear communication and strong interpersonal skillsA customer-centric approachThe ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical audiences and work effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholdersStrong self-management, including running your own projects and deals and prioritising across multiple workstreamsApply NowSee All Jobs Interested?
