About the role

As an AWS Solutions Architect in the WWPS HCLS segment, you will partner with high-value customers to design cloud architectures using AWS services. You will leverage technical depth, business aptitude, and leadership to engage and influence Enterprise Architects, Technical Architects, Cloud Architects, Directors, VPs, and CXOs. The role involves crafting scalable, flexible, and resilient cloud architectures to address customer business problems and accelerate AWS adoption.

You will act as a trusted customer advocate, helping organizations understand best practices for cloud-based solutions and migrate existing workloads to the cloud. The position offers the opportunity to shape and execute strategies that build mindshare and broad AWS adoption among enterprise customers. Connecting technology with measurable business value is critical.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure success in building and migrating applications, software, and services on the AWS platform.
  • Partner with the account management team to formulate and execute a strategy for customer growth.
  • Educate customers of all sizes on the AWS value proposition and participate in deep architectural discussions.
  • Conduct one-to-few and one-to-many training sessions to transfer knowledge to customers.
  • Capture and share best-practice knowledge within the AWS solutions architect community.
  • Author or contribute to AWS customer-facing publications such as whitepapers.
  • Build deep relationships with senior technical individuals within customers to enable cloud advocacy.
  • Act as a technical liaison between customers, service engineering teams, and support.

Requirements

  • 8+ years of experience in specific technology domains (e.g., software development, cloud computing, systems engineering, infrastructure, security, networking, data & analytics).
  • 3+ years of experience in design, implementation, or consulting for applications and infrastructures.
  • 10+ years of IT development or implementation/consulting experience in the software or Internet industries.
  • Strong understanding of large-scale computing solutions.
  • Ability to connect technology with measurable business value.
  • Demonstrated ability to think strategically about business, products, and technical challenges.
  • Passion for educating, training, designing, and building cloud solutions for enterprise customers.
  • Enjoy working with large, global customers as part of a diverse team.

Preferred Qualifications

  • 5+ years of infrastructure architecture, database architecture, and networking experience.
  • Experience working with end-user or developer communities.
  • Knowledge of AWS services, market segments, customer base, and industry verticals.
  • Knowledge of software development tools and methodologies.

  • USA, CA, Irvine: $153,600.00 - $207,800.00 USD annually
  • USA, CA, Santa Monica: $153,600.00 - $207,800.00 USD annually
  • USA, GA, Atlanta: $153,600.00 - $207,800.00 USD annually
  • USA, NY, New York: $169,000.00 - $228,600.00 USD annually
  • USA, TX, Dallas: $153,600.00 - $207,800.00 USD annually
  • USA, VA, Arlington: $153,600.00 - $207,800.00 USD annually
  • USA, WA, Seattle: $153,600.00 - $207,800.00 USD annually
