Sr. Solutions Architect - Applied AI for Supply Chain, Applied AI Solutions Decisions GTM

About the role

This position is part of the AWS Specialist and Partner Organization (ASP). Specialists own the end-to-end go-to-market strategy for their respective technology domains, providing the business and technical expertise to help customers succeed. Partner teams own the strategy, recruiting, development, and growth of key technology and consulting partners. Together, they provide customers with the expertise and scale needed to build innovative solutions for complex challenges.

As a Specialist Solutions Architect, you will drive the architectural vision for agentic AI solutions spanning multiple enterprise domains. You will own the design and delivery of entire programs of customer solutions, creating new patterns and methodologies that become industry standards. Operating with autonomy, you'll tackle complex problems in emerging areas, simplifying them into elegant solutions that serve as future reference designs. Internally, you will act as the voice of the customer and a technical asset, shaping AWS product roadmaps and leading thought leadership content.

Responsibilities

• Lead the development of enterprise-wide agentic AI architectures and frameworks that span multiple domains
• Collaborate with C-suite and VP-level stakeholders to shape both technical and business strategies
• Design and validate reference architectures that become industry standards for applying AI in business process optimization
• Drive clarity in ambiguous situations, leading large organizational or multi-country initiatives
• Mentor and develop other Solutions Architects, contributing to the growth of technical excellence across AWS

Requirements

• 8+ years of experience in specific technology domain areas (e.g., software development, cloud computing, systems engineering, infrastructure, security, networking, data & analytics)
• 3+ years of design, implementation, or consulting experience in applications and infrastructures
• 10+ years of IT development or implementation/consulting experience in the software or Internet industries

Preferred Qualifications

• 5+ years of infrastructure architecture, database architecture, and networking experience
• Experience working with end user or developer communities

Pay

• USA, CA, Mountain View: $176,600.00 - $239,000.00 USD annually
• USA, IL, Chicago: $153,600.00 - $207,800.00 USD annually
• USA, NY, New York: $169,000.00 - $228,600.00 USD annually
• USA, TX, Austin: $153,600.00 - $207,800.00 USD annually
• USA, VA, Arlington: $153,600.00 - $207,800.00 USD annually
• USA, WA, Seattle: $153,600.00 - $207,800.00 USD annually

Final compensation will be determined based on experience, qualifications, and location.
