Sr Software Engineer - TS Clearance

About the role

A Sr Software Engineer is needed for an onsite position in Huntsville, AL. The role requires a TS clearance and will involve working 3-5 days per week.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain software using Java, Springboot, AWS services such as RDS, PostgreSQL, Redis, PKI/SSL, DynamoDB, OpenSearch, and Keycloak.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including product managers, designers, and other engineers.
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of software development processes and tools.

Requirements

• At least 3 years of professional software engineering experience.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Experience with AWS services including RDS, PostgreSQL, Redis, PKI/SSL, DynamoDB, OpenSearch, and Keycloak.
• Strong understanding of Java, Springboot, and related technologies.
• Proficiency in version control systems like Git.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Qualifications

• Experience with DevOps practices and tools.
• Knowledge of security best practices, especially in relation to PKI/SSL and OpenSearch.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, agile environment.

Skills

• Java programming skills.
• Experience with AWS services.
• Springboot framework expertise.
• PostgreSQL, Redis, and RDS database management.
• PKI/SSL and OpenSearch knowledge.
