About the Opportunity

The Senior Software Engineer in Test is responsible for enhancing product quality by designing and maintaining scalable test automation frameworks and solutions. This role ensures reliable software performance across diverse environments, contributing significantly to the organization's quality strategy and supporting continuous integration and delivery processes.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and improve test infrastructure for software components.
• Build and maintain scalable, data-driven test automation frameworks using Jest and Playwright.
• Develop and execute comprehensive test strategies combining automated and manual testing.
• Perform debugging, root cause analysis, and defect investigation across multiple environments.
• Analyze product requirements and technical designs to assess risks and ensure testability.
• Collaborate with product managers and developers on test scenarios and acceptance criteria.
• Configure and maintain test environments and manage test data.
• Integrate automated tests within CI/CD pipelines to support continuous testing.
• Improve testing methodologies, tools, and processes.
• Document and communicate test results, defects, and quality metrics.
• Mentor junior team members by sharing knowledge and best practices.

Requirements

• Minimum 5 years of experience in software testing and test automation.
• Proficient hands-on experience with Jest and Playwright.
• Experience in both manual and automated testing within fast-paced environments.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent practical experience.
• Strong proficiency in JavaScript/TypeScript.
• Solid understanding of QA methodologies, test planning, and risk-based testing.
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and automated test execution.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.

Pay

The pay range for this role is USD 136,600 to 170,700 annually, with actual compensation based on factors including experience, skills, certifications, and location.
