For our client, a leader in the healthcare space, we are seeking a Senior Software Engineer to join their Developer Platform team. This role focuses on secure, reliable systems and risk-aware execution, working across engineering, product, operations, and business stakeholders to translate complex requirements into practical technology solutions.

This position offers the opportunity to influence architecture, execution quality, and the technology capabilities that enable long-term growth within a healthcare environment. The role is remote and open to US-based candidates only; no visa sponsorship is available.
Responsibilities
- Lead design and architecture of scalable, high-performance full-stack solutions
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to engineering team members
- Advocate for technical needs within the broader engineering organization
- Participate in product discovery sessions to inform feature development
- Collaborate with UX/UI designers for intuitive user interface creations
- Ensure seamless integration and communication across engineering teams
- Contribute to the strategic vision for the platform and team
- Implement observability practices for system reliability and performance
- Identify and propose enhancements for system performance and security
- Conduct code reviews and contribute to team knowledge sharing
- Model a culture of continuous improvement through feedback
Qualifications
- 5+ years of software engineering experience with production code delivery
- 3+ years in backend distributed systems design and delivery
- 3+ years with microservice architectures
- Strong full-stack skills in TypeScript, React (or similar), and Node.js (or similar)
- Proven ability to build scalable systems relied upon by other engineering teams
- Excellent problem-solving skills with a balance of curiosity and decisiveness
- Strong communication and collaboration skills, with a user-centric approach
- Experience with agile development, CI/CD, and testing practices
Pay
$120,000 – $150,000 annually
