About the role
The KLA RAPID Division is seeking a highly motivated individual to build cutting-edge C++ software for next-generation mask inspection systems. This role involves collaborating with multidisciplinary engineering teams to tackle complex engineering challenges and integrate AI capabilities into KLA systems. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in C++ programming and data analysis, as well as experience in multi-threaded programming environments. The focus is on developing machine control and data analysis software to improve tool availability.
Requirements
- BS/MS/PhD in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- Proven experience in C++ programming, object-oriented design, and design patterns.
- Strong background in data analysis and debugging in multi-process multi-threaded applications.
- Proficiency in Linux-based development environments.
- Experience with RPC and REST API architectures is a plus.
- Familiarity with databases and observability tools.
- Familiarity with frontend tool stacks and containerization technologies is a plus.
Responsibilities
- Design and develop inspection machine control software and data analytics solutions for advanced mask inspection systems.
- Integrate AI capabilities into production tools and evaluate different model training and inference flows.
- Collaborate with cross-functional engineering teams to define and implement system requirements.
- Optimize and maintain existing codebases to ensure performance, scalability, and reliability.
- Provide support during integration and testing and handle escalations from customer sites.

Pay
$136,300 - $231,700 per year
