Sr. Software Engineer
Job Summary
We are seeking a Backend Engineer to join our Global Infra TEAM. The ideal candidate will contribute to the development, innovation, and scaling of the Global Infra Platform and its components, as well as collaborate with peers across different teams and disciplines.
Qualifications
- Education: A Bachelor's or Master's (M.S./B.S.) degree in Computer Science or an equivalent technical field.
- Experience: 2+ years of professional Software Engineering experience, ideally focusing on the development of scalable server-side applications.
- Programming: Strong programming proficiency in one or more of the following: Python, Node.js, or TypeScript.
- Database Knowledge: Solid understanding of and experience with relational databases (SQL), MongoDB, and BigQuery.
- Collaboration: A demonstrated ability to be a team player with strong communication skills for effective collaboration across cross-functional groups.
- Core Technical Experience: Proven experience building and maintaining high-scale server-side applications. Experience utilizing Cloud Platforms such as Google Cloud Platform (GCP), Amazon Web Services (AWS), or Microsoft Azure. Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and managing cloud infrastructure. Experience with REST APIs (design, development, and consumption).
- Preferred: Prior experience with containerization technologies, specifically Kubernetes and/or Docker.
Compensation
The compensation offered for this position will depend on qualifications, experience, and work location. For candidates who receive an offer at the posted level, the starting base salary (for non-sales roles) or base salary + commission target (for sales/commissioned roles) is expected to be the annual range listed below. The offered compensation may also include restricted stock units and a bonus. A description of our employee benefits may be found here.
$106,000.00 - $170,500.00/yr
