Sr. Software Engineer, Applications

Responsibilities

• Shape product development through hands-on engineering
• Design and implement core applications and critical services
• Establish quality thresholds and release criteria like reliability and user trust
• Define best practices for AI-assisted coding
• Build end-to-end product capabilities with a focus on integration
• Utilize coding tools for rapid prototyping and documentation
• Collaborate with teams for production readiness and technical performance

Qualifications

• 5+ years of software engineering experience with technical leadership skills
• Experience building production distributed systems and backend services
• Proficient in Python and experienced with Next.js/TypeScript
• Fluent in AI coding tools (Claude Code, Cursor, GitHub Copilot) including context management and prompt strategies
• Strong system design skills, particularly in APIs and data integration
• Expertise in observability and operational excellence
• Background in automated testing and CI/CD tooling
• Familiarity with healthcare SaaS environments and multi-tenant architectures

Pay

$140,000 – $180,000 annually
