Sr. Software Engineer - Amazon FSx, FSx Control Plane

About the role

The Amazon FSx Control Plane engineering team is growing fast and we need your help to push the boundaries of the fastest cloud storage on AWS! This role involves designing, developing, and operating highly-scalable software services, solving complex problems with a diverse team of engineers, mentoring and growing junior engineers, and contributing to a fun, inclusive team culture.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and operate highly-scalable software services
• Solve complex problems with a diverse team of engineers
• Mentor and grow junior engineers

Qualifications

• 5+ years of non-internship professional software development experience
• 5+ years of programming with at least one software programming language experience
• 5+ years of leading design or architecture (design patterns, reliability and scaling) of new and existing systems experience
• Experience as a mentor, tech lead or leading an engineering team

Pay

The base salary range for this position is $168,100.00 - $227,400.00 USD annually.
