About the role

The Sr. Software Development Engineer at Workshop Studio will be responsible for building AI-powered capabilities on Amazon Bedrock AgentCore, designing multi-tenant workshop management systems, evolving the authentication and authorization architecture, and leading a team of backend and frontend engineers.

Responsibilities

  • Build AI-powered capabilities on Amazon Bedrock AgentCore such as content discovery, adaptive participant guidance, automated session summaries with lead scoring, agent-assisted authoring and simulated participant playthroughs for content validation.
  • Design multi-tenant workshop management with per-partner isolation, access controls, and lifecycle tooling. Build integration APIs that let high traffic AWS websites provide sandbox environments on demand.
  • Evolve the authentication and authorization architecture across multiple identity providers to support partner authentication, scoped permissions for external users, and cross-tenant content sharing.
  • Lead design reviews, mentor a team of backend plus frontend engineers and produce architectural documents that shape multi-year decisions. Own production health through on-call rotations, incident response, retrospective reviews and runbook maintenance.

Requirements

  • Experience as a mentor, tech lead or leading an engineering team
  • 6+ years of non-internship professional software development experience
  • 5+ years of programming with at least one software programming language experience
  • 5+ years of leading design or architecture (design patterns, reliability and scaling) of new and existing systems experience

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent
  • Knowledge of Machine Learning and LLM fundamentals, including transformer architecture, training/inference lifecycles, and optimization techniques
