About the Role

Evisort Engineering is growing! As a Fullstack Software Engineer, you'll join a collaborative, cross-functional team working to enhance and expand our AI-driven contract management platform. You'll work closely with engineers, product managers, data scientists, and designers to help deliver scalable, user-centric solutions that transform how legal and business teams manage their contracts. Your technical contributions and team-first mindset will play a key role in delivering high-impact products that scale our AI capabilities and help global organizations simplify complex business processes.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with engineering, data science, product, and design teams to build and evolve our vision, strategy, and roadmap
• Participate in a supportive, iterative team culture that values curiosity, learning, and strong engineering practices
• Contribute to the growth and success of your teammates through knowledge sharing and mentorship
• Take ownership of multiple functional areas in our platform — from development to production ("you build it, you run it")

Basic Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience in software engineering
• 5+ years experience with a web development framework (Python preferred: Flask, Django, or FastAPI)
• 5+ years with a Relational DB (PostgreSQL preferred)

Other Qualifications

• Experience building and operating SaaS products in cloud environments (AWS preferred)
• Familiarity with the tradeoffs and architecture of modern distributed systems
• Knowledge of software development best practices (DevOps, CI/CD, automated testing, observability)
• Hands-on experience with containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes)
• Familiarity with Elasticsearch
• Exposure to additional programming languages like Java (backend) and TypeScript (frontend/fullstack) is a plus
• Proven success working within fast-paced, agile environments and cross-functional teams
• Strong communication skills, with the ability to collaborate with both technical and non-technical partners
• Comfortable working with ambiguity and translating complex problems into clear, thoughtful solutions

Pay

Primary Location (USA.CA.Pleasanton) Base Pay Range: $176,000 USD - $264,000 USD. Additional US Location(s) Base Pay Range: $148,200 USD - $264,000 USD. This role may be eligible for the Workday Bonus Plan or a role-specific commission/bonus, as well as annual refresh stock grants.

Schedule

Flex Work approach combines in-person and remote work, with at least half (50%) of time each quarter spent in the office or in the field with customers, prospects, and partners (depending on role). Remote "home office" roles also have opportunities to come together in offices for important moments.
