Sr. Software Development Engineer

For our client, a leader in the healthcare space, we are seeking a Senior Software Development Engineer to lead technical work focused on cloud-enabled scalability, reliability, and delivery excellence. You will collaborate across engineering, product, operations, and business stakeholders to translate complex requirements into practical technology solutions, influencing architecture and long-term technology capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Designs and defines technical architecture for digital solutions
• Writes and develops software components, implementing complex functionalities
• Collaborates with the development team and stakeholders on high-level architectural decisions
• Leverages advanced programming skills to implement complex features and optimize performance
• Integrates various software components to ensure interoperability
• Writes and executes comprehensive test cases, conducts code reviews, and troubleshoots issues
• Participates in agile methodologies, contributing to project success and planning

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology, Engineering, or a relevant field
• Five years of post-baccalaureate experience in software development or a related occupation
• Expertise in CI/CD, Jenkins, GIT, or DevOps methodologies
• Proficiency in TypeScript or object-oriented JavaScript, as well as Java, Hive, or NoSQL databases
• Experience with cloud technologies: Azure, AWS, or GCP, and Docker or Kubernetes

Pay

$147,680 – $203,940 annually
