As a Software Development Engineer on the Quick team, you will play a vital role in designing, developing, and optimizing the platform's core components. Your work will ensure high performance, scalability, and reliability while directly impacting how businesses leverage AI for enhanced operations and data-driven decision-making.

Responsibilities

• Build features in Amazon Quick that are trend-setting in the Gen AI field.
• Solve the hardest engineering challenges to enable machine learning-powered solutions for our customers.
• Deliver large, scalable systems and design new software systems.
• Mentor engineers and provide leadership on complex technical issues.

Requirements

• 5+ years of non-internship professional software development experience
• 5+ years of programming with at least one software programming language experience
• 5+ years of leading design or architecture (design patterns, reliability and scaling) of new and existing systems experience
• Experience as a mentor, tech lead or leading an engineering team

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent

Preferred Qualifications

• 5+ years of full software development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations experience
