About the role

A Sr. Software Development Engineer in AI Gen Creative Building at Amazon Advertising is responsible for designing and implementing major deliverables across the entire technology stack. This includes full-stack coding, AI-assisted development, and working closely with various teams to build scalable, high-quality software services.

Responsibilities

• Owns the design and implementation of major deliverables across the entire technology stack—from frontend to API layer, database, infrastructure, and agent architecture.
• Leverages AI throughout the development lifecycle for coding, debugging, and problem-solving.
• Builds scalable, well-designed software services that remove engineering complexity while preserving partner teams' autonomy to innovate.
• Collaborates with software engineers, product managers, technical program managers, and partner teams across Amazon Advertising.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of non-internship professional software development experience
• 5+ years of programming with at least one software programming language experience
• 5+ years of leading design or architecture (design patterns, reliability and scaling) of new and existing systems experience
• Experience as a mentor, tech lead or leading an engineering team
