Sr Software Developer

About the role

The position requires a current or active security clearance with a FS Poly and 20+ years of experience as a software engineer in programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity, or 4 more years of experience.

Responsibilities

• Support the modernization of malware analysis
• Develop techniques for metadata storage for knowledge management to support the defense of national security systems
• Explore new technologies and prototype new mission tools and analytics
• Develop new algorithms and innovative techniques to address mission-related problems

Requirements

• Current or active security clearance with a FS Poly
• 20+ years of experience as a software engineer in programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity, or 4 more years of experience

Qualifications

• Experience developing containerized applications (Kubernetes/Docker)
• Ability to develop high-quality, efficient, and testable code
• Ability to debug complex, system-wide issues
• Java Application (no front end necessary), REST
• Experience with Atlassian tools, Git
• Experience with IntelliJ or Eclipse IDE

Skills

• Desired: Kotlin, Kubernetes, Experience with Message Broker Software (RabbitMQ/etc.), Spring or Spring Boot, Python, Mongo, Nifi

Pay

The proposed salary range for this position is: $174,400 - $220,300
