Sr. Security Analyst - Information Services Data Center

Summary

Responsible for execution and operation of components that make up the IS Security Program. Ensures that security policies, standards and procedures are followed. Operational responsibility for deployed security products plus any new security products that are implemented. Provides content for security awareness program. Participates with risk management, security incident evaluation and investigation using deployed security products.

Qualifications

• Required:
  • Bachelor’s Degree in related discipline or 5 years Information Systems experience and/or 3 years Cybersecurity experience.
  • Knowledgeable in more than one IS technology area (access management, network, device, data, or application).
  • Competent with at least 2 security products or services.
  • Basic understanding of healthcare specific security and privacy (HIPAA).
  • Strong analytical and trouble shooting skills.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • S strong computer skills including excel and word.
  • Ability to interact effectively with a wide range of cultural, ethnic, racial, and socioeconomic backgrounds.
• Preferred:
  • Advanced Security Certification (SSCP, CEH, CISSP, HCISPP).
  • Familiar with Microsoft Office suite.

Physical Demands

• Sit, stand, stoop, bend, and ambulate intermittently during the day.

• See in the normal visual range with or without correction.
• Hear in the normal audio range with or without correction.
• Finger dexterity to operate office equipment required.
• May need to lift up to twenty-five (25) pounds on occasion.
