Sr. SAP TM Functional Consultant – S/4HANA Upgrade Specialist

We are seeking a Sr. SAP TM Functional Consultant to support the TCA and SAP S/4HANA 2025 upgrade, focusing on transportation management processes, configuration, testing, and logistics continuity requirements.

Responsibilities

• Assess the impacts of the SAP S/4HANA 2025 upgrade on SAP TM processes.
• Validate logistics processes through configuration, testing, and defect resolution.
• Support integration, deployment, retrofit, and dual maintenance activities.
• Collaborate with business, technical, testing, and change management teams.
• Ensure continuity of freight planning, carrier selection, shipment execution, and related logistics operations.

Requirements

• Over 5 years of hands-on experience with SAP Transportation Management.
• Experience with SAP S/4HANA upgrades in mid- to large-scale environments.
• Solid SAP TM functional knowledge including embedded and/or decentralized models.
• Ability to assess Release Notes, Simplification Items, and Readiness Check outputs.
• Experienced in configuration, master data validation, integration/UAT testing, and defect management.
• Knowledge of freight planning, carrier selection, charge management, tendering, and settlement.
• Familiarity with EDI, IDocs, ESR, CIF, SAP Solution Manager, Readiness Check, and Focused Build.
• Strong analytical, communication, and cross-functional collaboration skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• SAP S/4HANA 2025, Private Cloud, or On-Premise experience.
• Working knowledge of SAP EWM, MM, and SD.
• Experienced with dual maintenance, environment management, and deployment readiness.
• Ability to support user training and operational change readiness.
• SAP TM certification.
