About the role

In this role you will be a key member of the team creating enterprise applications needed to design, build, and operate the organization’s business services. You will be responsible for the technical and functional support to software product development in SAP S/4 and SAP Global Trade Services (GTS). You will develop custom solutions, enhancements, and user interfaces to meet specific business requirements. The ideal candidate is highly autonomous, has strong knowledge of SAP functional and technical modules, organizational and time management skills, and a successful track record of delivering large-scale engineering projects. The desire and ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment is essential.

Responsibilities

  • Analyze and understand business requirements, functional specifications, and design documents to develop custom solutions and enhancements to SAP S/4 and SAP GTS
  • Integrate SAP GTS with corporate applications and other related Kuiper systems while ensuring Controlled Unclassified Information (CUI) protection
  • Perform customization and configuration of SAP GTS product to meet business needs
  • Perform unit testing, integration testing, and debugging to ensure the quality and functionality of the developed solutions
  • Drive SAP GTS product discussions with business stakeholders to improve users' adoption and training
  • Develop custom ABAP programs, reports, interfaces, and enhancements to extend or modify the standard SAP functionality
  • Stay abreast of the latest SAP technologies and build the technology roadmap to meet business medium and long-term needs

About the team

The Amazon Leo for Government (ALG) team is responsible for a suite of products to automate and optimize business operations. This is anchored in business process modeling and configuring SAP ERP’s enterprise capabilities to streamline and optimize critical business processes, including Order-to-Cash (OTC), Procure-to-Pay (PTP), Record-to-Report (RTR), and Make-to-Order (MTO). The team also owns Contract Lifecycle Management (CLM) and Pricing systems. The solutions are built to comply with applicable Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR).

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or above in Computer Science or other technical degree or related experience
  • 7+ years of implementing and managing SAP ERP solutions, with a strong focus on SAP S/4HANA experience
  • 3+ years experience in analyzing, creating system specifications, and developing tests and implementing business solutions utilizing SAP GTS
  • Hands-on experience with SAP GTS modules (Compliance, Customs, and Risk Management)
  • 5+ years of experience in developing custom ABAP programs
  • 6+ years of SAP experience with delivery of an end-to-end design and implementation as the main focus
  • Strong understanding of global trade regulations, customs processes, and duty management

Preferred Qualifications

  • Master's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related fields
  • Experience with SAP manufacturing, Warehouse Management, and Inventory Management
  • Experience with SAP S/4 HANA with RISE
  • Comprehensive understanding of custom development approach and integration strategy from both a technical and functional perspective
  • Experience with SAP security best practices that ensure SAP systems comply with industry regulations and standards
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and complex tasks in a dynamic work environment

Pay

  • USA, CA, Sunnyvale: $176,600.00 - $239,000.00 USD annually
  • USA, NY, New York: $169,000.00 - $228,600.00 USD annually
  • USA, VA, Arlington: $153,600.00 - $207,800.00 USD annually
  • USA, WA, Bellevue: $153,600.00 - $207,800.00 USD annually
