About the role
The SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP) Administrator at Exact Sciences is responsible for managing, securing, and operating SAP BTP services across enterprise landscapes. This role involves BTP account administration, security, connectivity, service enablement, and platform governance, ensuring high availability, compliance, and scalability of SAP cloud solutions.
Responsibilities
- Manage and secure SAP BTP services across enterprise landscapes.
- Work with application end-users to identify and resolve issues.
- Develop and implement solutions for a wide range of difficult problems.
- Design and configure business systems, upgrades, and improvements for low to medium complexity applications.
- Lead the estimation of enhancement or support requests.
- Guide workflow design, configure, and test system changes, and analyze technical issues.
- Liaise with business systems stakeholders and software vendor’s implementation staff to ensure alignment of business needs with system changes.
- Provide end-user production support for issues entered into issue tracking systems.
- Assign or delegate configuration or other activities to other team members.
- Act as a delegate for leadership regarding incident or problem resolution.
- Provide mentorship for other peers and take the lead to solve problems, even if outside of normal scope.
- Lead internal process design and documentation to drive continuous improvement for the IT department or team.
- Ensure projects and issues are reviewed with project leadership.
- Communicate information clearly and concisely with project leadership, subject matter experts, and key stakeholders.
- Operate in a cross-functional and complex matrix environment.
- Adaptability, open to change, able to work in ambiguous situations, and respond to new information or unexpected circumstances.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field, or 12 years of relevant experience in lieu of a degree.
- 5+ years of experience developing or configuring technology solutions, either in an application analyst or project delivery role.
- Demonstrated ability to understand and apply industry best practices.
- Strong computer skills to include internet navigation and email usage.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office programs.
- Demonstrated ability to perform the essential duties of the position with or without accommodation.
Qualifications
- Experience configuring business systems software in a life sciences, health care, or related industry.
- Hands-on experience with global accounts, subaccounts, Cloud Foundry/Kyma environments, entitlements, and service lifecycle management.
- Strong knowledge of SAP BTP security concepts including IAS/IPS, role collections, OAuth, SAML, and integration with corporate identity providers.
- Experience configuring SAP BTP connectivity services (Cloud Connector, Destination Service, Integration Suite) for SAP and third-party system integration.
- Ability to monitor BTP services, manage quotas and costs, enforce naming conventions, and ensure platform compliance and stability.
- Solid understanding of SAP S/4HANA or ECC landscapes and cloud fundamentals (IaaS/PaaS concepts, networking, certificates, TLS).

Pay
$91,000.00 - $155,000.00 annually, based on experience.
