Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain Salesforce applications using Apex, Lightning Web Components, Lightning Components, Visualforce, SOQL, and Salesforce platform APIs.
- Design, build, and support Salesforce configuration including objects, fields, page layouts, record types, validation rules, flows, approval processes, reports, dashboards, and case management capabilities.
- Build and enhance Lightning user interfaces using LWC, JavaScript, CSS, HTML, and Salesforce design standards.
- Design and implement integrations using REST, SOAP, platform events, scheduled jobs, batch jobs, queueable Apex, and other Salesforce integration patterns.
- Analyze logs, debug Apex and automation issues, identify root causes, and implement reliable fixes for production and lower-environment issues.
- Participate in all phases of the development lifecycle, including solution design, development, unit testing, QA support, deployment, and production support.
- Perform code reviews and follow Salesforce best practices related to security, performance, maintainability, bulkification, and governor limits.
- Work with business owners, product teams, QA, architects, and cross-functional technology teams to understand requirements and deliver high-quality solutions.
- Maintain and configure Salesforce development and test environments, including sandbox support and release activities.
- Learn and apply new Salesforce platform capabilities where they provide practical business value.
Requirements
- 5+ years of hands-on Salesforce development experience.
- Strong hands-on experience with Apex, Lightning Web Components, Lightning Components, Visualforce, SOQL, and Salesforce platform APIs.
- Strong Salesforce configuration experience includes fields, objects, page layouts, record types, validation rules, flows, approval processes, reports, dashboards, and case management.
- Hands-on experience with JavaScript, CSS, HTML, XML, and modern web application development concepts.
- Experience designing, developing, and supporting integrations using REST and SOAP web services.
- Strong understanding of Salesforce data modeling, object relationships, security model, sharing, profiles, permission sets, and performance-aware development.
- Ability to debug complex issues across Apex, flows, validation rules, Lightning components, integrations, and data flows.
- Ability to write clean, understandable, maintainable code that other team members can support and extend.
- Ability to take ownership, manage multiple priorities, and deliver in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills, including the ability to explain technical details clearly to business and technical audiences.
Qualifications
- Preferred qualifications include Salesforce Developer certification, experience working in Agile software development teams, experience with CI/CD processes, source control, deployment tools, and release management, and ability to quickly learn technologies and integrate them into existing enterprise platforms.
