As a Sales Development Representative (SDR) at ICIMS, you'll play a critical role in helping talent acquisition leaders discover how ICIMS Hire can modernize and scale their hiring efforts. ICIMS Hire is the industry's most flexible and scalable applicant tracking system, helping organizations streamline recruiting processes, improve hiring outcomes, and create exceptional candidate experiences.
In this role, you'll leverage industry-leading sales technology, market insights, and a proven prospecting methodology to engage senior-level decision makers and generate qualified opportunities for our new business prospect sales team. Responsibilities
- Leverage company training opportunities to build expertise in the iCIMS Talent Cloud offerings, the talent acquisition landscape, and value selling.
- Own an assigned territory with the goal of generating net-new qualified opportunities through proactive outbound prospecting and working inbound leads.
- Research target accounts to identify key decision makers, understand business challenges, and build persona-based value propositions.
- Proactively develop prospecting plans to prioritize and actively engage target accounts, partnering cross-functionally within ICIMS for insight and support.
- Utilize intent data and sales tools to prioritize outreach to the right prospects at the right time.
- Conduct discovery calls and pass qualified leads to the Account Executive team.
- Use Salesforce CRM to track and record sales activity.
Qualifications
- A minimum of 3 years of relevant phone-based sales experience focused on new customer acquisition preferred.
- A well-developed repertoire of highly effective outbound sales strategies and the ability to quickly establish executive relationships.
- An entrepreneurial spirit and desire to help build a new function from the ground up.
- High degree of drive, energy, and passion for sales.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills; articulates thoughts and ideas clearly, concisely, and persuasively.
- Demonstrated ability to effectively navigate through complex organizations and/or where customers consistently have elements of complexity (e.g., decentralized or with multiple business units/brands).
- Ability to effectively overcome customer concerns on a consistent basis.
- Exceptional time management skills; ability to manage workload while understanding return on time investment.
- High degree of comfort managing multiple, competing priorities in ambiguous environments.
- PC literate; proficiency with Microsoft Office (PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook).
- Ability to work effectively within a fast-paced, changing environment that is going through high growth.
- A self-starter with the demonstrated ability to take initiative, who can proactively identify issues/opportunities and recommend actions.
- Strong results orientation with a proven track record of flawless execution and strong attention to detail.
- Demonstrated flexibility, resilience, and creativity when solving for complex issues.
- Ability to work both independently and within a team environment.
Pay
The anticipated base salary range for this position is $63,000–70,000. In addition, the estimated on-target earnings (“OTE”), which includes base salary and commissions, is $90,000–$100,000. Actual compensation will depend on various job-related factors, including but not limited to, location, experience, and job qualifications.
